MinCorp leverages this shipping expertise to trade in various commodities such minerals, industrial raw materials, fertilizers, agricultural products and FMCG goods.

SOT has extensive experience in managing dry bulkers, tankers and gas carriers and operated a significant fleet of ships ranging from 4,000 to 80,000 deadweight tonnes including a monopoly of the largest self-propelled barges in the Indian Sub-continent and Persian Gulf.

Freight being the key element in trading, MinCorp was established to capitalize SOT’s shipping expertise and to act as a natural hedge. MinCorp directly negotiates with end users for the supply of raw materials, viz. Iron ore, Coke (Nutcoke), GBFS (Slag), China Clay, Gypsum etc.
